With the inauguration of the new logistics center in H\u0103lchiu, Bra\u0219ov County, Fabrica de Lapte Bra\u0219ov – <\/strong>the company behind the Olympus brand and one of the largest dairy producers in Romania and the wider region\u2014sets a new benchmark in the logistics sector. The project, made possible through an investment exceeding \u20ac40 million, covers a total surface of 13,500 m\u00b2 and is designed to optimize logistics operations.<\/p>\n A High-Density Cold Storage Facility<\/strong><\/p>\n Among its many features, the new center hosts one of Romania\u2019s largest high-density cold storage warehouses, designed to significantly reduce energy consumption. With a capacity of more than 32,000 pallets, the warehouse is equipped with advanced temperature control systems (2\u20134 \u00b0C). Developed vertically by E80 Group, the new Olympus high-density cold storage warehouse delivers a large capacity with a minimal ground footprint, ranking among the largest of its kind in Romania. Compared to a traditional warehouse of the same capacity, the high-density facility occupies six times less space. This offers a dual environmental benefit: minimizing land use while also reducing the energy required for product management.<\/p>\n Olympus partnered with E80 Group<\/strong> for this pioneering project. The Italian multinational has more than 40 years of experience in designing integrated automated intralogistics solutions for producers and distributors of consumer goods, including beverages, food, and paper products.
